Well down here it will be a rainy experience...nonetheless it was winning the second place in the 200 freestyle national championships.

With the aid of a new coach who I really appreciated this summer, I swam a lifetime best 100 free. I'm 43 years old.

Being a part of Masters Nationals in Portland. Not only did I swim really well, but I met so many fun people from almost every state (and a few other countries). And my Arizona teammates are the best - it was such a blast swimming with you! Can't wait to do it again.

Taught a 4 year old to swim - he completed 25 yards freestyle at the last lesson - he panicked a bit as we entered the deep end but was easily coaxed to finish - yup, he's a rockstar

Senior year in college qualifying for my conference championships in the 100 breast stroke.

A close second, my first year as a head coach of my school's boys team & watching them overcome a 15 point deficit at the beginning of the 500 free to win the meet in the last relay.

Cutting through the waves and then body surfing back in lake Washington on one of our stormy summer days. Oh yeah, and watching 15 trials cuts during our long course development meet.

I have two:
1. going on a training trip with my team to Ft. Lauderdale for a week and then we had a meet at the end. It was painful but nonetheless AWESOME
2. getting my sectional cut at the 2008 Central Megazone Championship in Indianapolis
